3.1. General informationIn this Part types of works on repair of the engines which are carried out directly on the car are described. In all described below operations on repair it is meant that the engine from the car is not dismantled.
Engines verkhneklapanny, with a cam-shaft drive from a chain. The tension of a chain is regulated by a rubber boot. On engines the head of cylinders from an aluminum alloy is established.
On the Z24 engine it is provided on 2 candles on the cylinder (photo).
The distributor of ignition and the oil pump have a drive from a uniform spiral gear wheel of the crankshaft.
The crankshaft is greased under pressure. The cam-shaft and the gas-distributing mechanism are greased under pressure and a razbryzgivaniye.
