6.1. Cooling system - general informationThe pump, the thermostat, broad tank and hoses (photo) belong to system of cooling a radiator with a safety valve.
Liquid circulation in the engine is provided with the centrifugal pump mounted in a forward part of the block of cylinders. Warm liquid warms the case of a zaslonka and a soaking-up collector. On cars with automatic transmission in the lower part of a radiator the cooler of transmission liquid is mounted. On cars with the conditioner before a radiator the condenser is established. Krylchatka of the fan of cooling has a drive from the hydraulic coupling. On a part of cars the temperature regulator is built in the coupling, i.e. the fan turns on after engine warming up when the krylchatka is entered into gearing with shaft by means of a thermobimetallic spiral spring. The coupling not folding, care of it is not required.
